When President Obama signs H.R. 4853 into law, it will extend bonus deprecation for new aircraft purchase to 100%. The law is retroactive for new aircraft purchased after September 8, 2010 and will be in effect until December 31, 2011.

Section 179 Expensing is unchanged. $500,000 expensing is available for new or used aircraft purchased in 2010 and 2011.
